Terrell Ellis
President
Ms. Ellis started
her company in 1992 to provide support to the public and private sectors on issues
related to community and economic revitalization, including organizational development,
strategic planning, real estate development, financing strategies, and project planning.
In recognition that community based groups are such an important catalyst for change,
Ms. Ellis diversified the company to add a range of services designed to strengthen
the organizational capacity of nonprofit organizations. She has over twenty years
of experience working at the national, state and local levels.
In addition to her Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Affairs from Virginia Tech,
Ms. Ellis is also a Certified Economic Development Finance Professional. She has
served on numerous local, state and national organizations in a volunteer capacity-and
encourages all of her staff to do the same.

Calah Young
Senior Planner
Ms. Young
is a certified planner with over ten years of experience in land use planning in
West Virginia, Virginia, and North Carolina. Her skills include comprehensive land
use planning, hazard mitigation, NEPA documentation, socioeconomic analysis, public
participation, and GIS. Ms. Young has been responsible for the management and completion
a variety of planning projects ranging from neighborhood level plans to major multi-state
transportation studies. She is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts
and a recipient of a Master’s degree in Regional Planning from the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Angela Brown
Program Manager

Mrs. Brown brings
9 years of management experience, and has provided professional services such as
contract negotiation, fundraising and marketing to various firms located throughout
the United States. She has exceptional organizational skills and experience managing
various volunteer groups to reach fundraising and project goals. Her solid approach
to systems development and fearless attitude in the face of challenge are both tremendous
assets to the firm. She is currently pursuing her Associate of Arts Degree from
Marshall University.

Angie Paxton
Program Manager
Ms. Paxton
brings 5 years experience in the administrative field to the company. Her studies
include organizational behavior and personnel management, as well as training on
the behavior of employees at various levels in an organization, employee motivation,
communication and relationships among employers and employees. She is a graduate
of West Virginia State University Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.

Ann Adams
Administrative Assistant
Ann has studied
the principles of advertising, public relations, web design, and the legal environment
of business management. She has solid skills in writing, research, and media analysis.
Ann is extremely interested in economic devel-opment and bringing more young graduates
back to West Virginia. She received a bachelor of science in public relations from
the Perley Isaac School of Journalism at West Virginia University as well as a minor
in English literature in 2007.
